THE MUSEUM IN CORONAVIRUS MODE

A visit to the Gallo-Roman Museum is not as it once was. We outline the measures and guidance below. Stick to them and your visit will be a safe and pleasant one.

Visits to the museum can be made individually or as a family during normal opening hours. For the time being guided tours and group visits are not possible.

The shop is open. Bistro Bacchus is closed. Use of the auditorium is not permitted.

We can admit only a small number of visitors at any time. For that reason you are required to reserve a time slot. Reserve your visit online or by telephone.

You pay by card, preferably contactless. You pay at the counter. You get a wristband, which you put on yourself.

Face masks are mandatory. Also keep a distance of 1.5 metres from other visitors and museum staff.

Sanitise your hands on entry to the museum and on entry to each hall.

The lockers are available for use. Sanitise your hands before and after use.

You will receive an audio guide (with headphones). We thoroughly clean the devices after each use. The same applies for touchscreens.

We disinfect all points of manual contact such as railings and buttons in the lift, as well as all benches several times a day. This is also a thorough process.

Avoid touching surfaces. Cough or sneeze into a paper handkerchief or into your elbow. Dispose of the handkerchief in a sealed bin. These are located all around the museum.

Avoid using the elevators. The elevators are reserved for persons with restricted mobility. Please stick to the maximum passenger number.

Try not to retrace your steps. Avoid two-way traffic. Follow the arrows on the floor.

You are very welcome, but please do not enter if you are symptomatic!
