Tailored guided tours

You can of course visit the permanent exhibition with a qualified and experienced guide. Though we make the exhibitions very accessible, a guide is still the best way to get the most out of the museum. To ensure the consistently high standard of these tours, we accept a maximum of 25 people per group. This way the guide can gear the tour to your needs and answer any questions.

A guided visit is recommended for social-cultural associations but also for groups of relatives, friends and co-workers.

Tip: Do you want to visit the gladiators at night? No problem. Please contact us for more information on our nocturnal events.

Visit without a guide

Our guides are specially trained to add an extra dimension to your visit. However, you can visit the museum also as a group without a guide. Or perhaps you would like to provide your own guided tour? This is perfectly possible and you are most welcome to do so, though we do ask that you advise us in advance of your arrival if there are 10 people or more in the group. That way we can take your visit into account when planning other group visits. We always try to ensure that everyone’s visit runs smoothly and avoiding overcrowded rooms is part of this.

The entrance fee for groups (€ 5 p.p.) is possible from 25 persons.
