What you also need to know

‘The Etruscans - Una storia particolare’, runs from 16 March up to and including 25 August 2013.

Elsewhere on the website you can find more information about opening hours, location and accessibility of the museum, accessibility for people with a disability and entrance fees.

You can of course also visit the exhibition with a guide. This is not only an added value for socio-cultural groups, but also for a visit with colleagues or family.

The museum shop offers several good basic publications on the Etruscans. There is also a catalogue of the double exhibition ‘Etruscans. Women of Standing – Men of power’. This ran in the Allard Pierson Museum (Amsterdam) and Museum of Antiquities (Leiden) in 2011-2012.

Naturally, the Museum Kafee will be taking part in this promotion. You can taste Tuscan specialities throughout the duration of the exhibition.

If you would like to combine your visit to the museum with a few days in Tongeren, we can recommend the Etruscan-arragnement from Ruttermolen. More information: http://www.ruttermolen.be/
