Point of convergence

What better place to begin or end your visit than in the Museum Kafee! You can get a drink or a snack, such as a pancake, or something more substantial. What makes it special is that regional products are used in most of the dishes. Haspengouw has an excellent reputation in this area.

In the summer you can relax on the terrace which affords a lovely view of the Basilica. And children are as welcome here as they are in the museum itself. Their tastes are specially catered for with original and above all affordable dishes. They will also love the supply of educational books waiting for them in the reading corner. But there’s reading material to appease adult appetites too, and indeed what could be more relaxing than leafing through a newspaper or magazine while enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine?

The Kafee is also open after the museum has closed. If you are looking for a party venue or for a place for a business meeting or presentation where catering is provided, contact us and we will examine the possibilities together. Did you know that we have a foyer, meeting centre and fully equipped auditorium?
